2020 Schedule

March 2020: Social Foxtrot
an easy & fun dance
Class starts on March 5 (4-week session)

The Social Foxtrot  has an easily repeatable basic movement which beginners can learn quickly. You can dance the Social Foxtrot to almost any tune with a 2/4 or 4/4 time signature, which means most any dance music - it is one of the most useful dances to learn for any kind of dance party and any size dance floor (including postage-stamp size floors!)

Each class builds on previous week.
Open to all ages, levels of ability, and genders.
April 2020: Bachata
an easy & fun dance
Class starts on April 2 (4-week session)

Bachata originated in the Dominican Republic. It is similar to Salsa, but is danced at a slower pace and has a more intimate feel and presentation. Easy to learn, this class has been very popular since we introduced it to SLED dancers in 2018.

Each class builds on previous week.
Open to all ages, levels of ability, and genders.

April 30th: 5th Thursday Line-dances
On the 5th Thursday of April, we will learn a variety of easy and fun line dances!

May 2020: Quickstep (4-week session)

(Schedule subject to change)
Whether you are a beginner or intermediate dancer, we always recommend regular attendance. Many dancers repeat beginner classes; there is always something new to learn. Repetition & practice really do make a better dancer.

Class is very beginner-friendly – most of us felt like we had two (or even three) left feet when we started.

Open to all ages, levels of ability, and genders.

Bring a friend, partner, or come by yourself – no dance partner required.
